YMC-Triart PFP
Hybrid silica based column with unique polar interaction.
YMC-Triart PFP is a pentafluorophenyl phase bonded to an organic/inorganic hybrid silica particle (L43 USP designation).
This non-endcapped stationary phase offers unique selectivity due to hydrophobic, π-π, and dipole-dipole interactions.
It is especially effective for improving separation of aromatic, nitro, and halogen compounds.
Characteristics
- Superior chemical durability
- 100% aqueous stable (no phase de-wetting for reversed phase
- Excellent planar and steric cognitive ability
- Different selectivity from C18 and C8 with polar and π-π interaction playing a significant role in the separation
Applications
Typical applications includes: aromatic stereoisomers, halogenated and polar compounds
