Matthew Pires

Matthew Pires is the Quality Manager for YMC America and is responsible for managing and overseeing the Quality Management System.

Matthew has over 35 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, where he has worked for some of the leaders in their respective industries including General Electric, NN Inc., and Schott North America. Prior to joining YMC America, Matthew was the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Manager for Creative Materials, Inc., a key player in the manufacturing of specialty inks, coatings, and adhesives. Matthew was the Quality Manager for New England Keyboard, an Electronics Assemblies Manufacturer.

Matthew holds a B.S. in Mathematics and is a Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing Black Belt. He is also a proud Veteran of the United States Navy.
