Mario Lopez

Mario Lopez joined YPT in 2018 as a Subject Matter Expert and is now Engineering Manager, overseeing the entire group of process engineers. He has worked over 20 years in the filtration and separations industry working at SeitzSchenk (USFilter), Pall Corporation, and Veolia Water Technologies. His experience covers a variety of markets including biotechnology, food & beverage, chemical processing, municipal water, waste water, and oil & gas industries. He has held the role of field service engineer, applications engineer, project engineer, project manager, and process engineer. Mario’s projects have covered a wide variety of technologies including direct flow filtration systems, ceramic and polymeric TFF/crossflow filtration systems, chromatography controllers, buffer dilution systems, and resin handling equipment. Mario has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University.
