Jeff Kakaley

Jeff Kakaley is the Senior Manager, Sales & Applications at YMC America. Jeff began his career in 2002 as an analytical development (AD) scientist with Organon Pharmaceuticals and later added AD positions with companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, Medarex, and ImClone Systems to his resume. He joined YMC America in 2011 as the Applications Laboratory Manager, responsible for the startup of the lab, developing new applications for YMC columns, and general laboratory support for customers including column screening, method development, and small-scale purifications. He spent much of his time providing customers with product support and training, as well as application troubleshooting. Today, he uses the knowledge and expertise that he cultivated in those early years to advise the consumables sales team and customer service department as they work to provide the best solutions and technical support to YMC customers. Jeff holds a BS in Chemistry from Bloomsburg University and an MBA from Kutztown University.
