Products for Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC)
YMC offers two product lines designed for size exclusion chromatography: YMC-Pack Diol / Diol-HG and YMC-SEC MAB.
YMC-Pack Diol is a size exclusion chromatography column packed with dihydroxypropyl-bonded silica. This versatile phase is available in four different pore sizes and can be used for molecular weights ranging from 1,000 to 1,000,000. Typical applications include proteins, oligosaccharides, peptides, and antibodies. YMC-Pack Diol-HG offers particle sizes of 10 µm and higher as part of the YMC*Gel High Grade (HG) series. These resins boast improved mechanical stability as well as narrower particle size and pore size distribution.
YMC-SEC MAB is a silica based size exclusion chromatography column specifically designed for monoclonal antibodies. Optimized base material design and surface modification provide superior separation of antibody monomers and their aggregates/fragments with very low nonspecific adsorption. This is ideal for the quality control assessment of antibody drugs. YMC-SEC MAB exhibits excellent resolution and peak shape over a wide molecular weight range of 10kDa to 700kDa
