Coreshell Columns for UHPLC and HPLC

Meteoric Core columns offer outstanding resolution for UHPLC and HPLC with a base particle of core-shell type silica gel. Meteoric Core can be used over a wide pH range, providing excellent peak shape for basic and coordination compounds. When compared to conventional fully-porous materials under the same conditions, Meteoric Core columns can shorten analysis times by two thirds. Theoretical plate count is maintained at 2X faster flow rate while resolution is maintained at an operating pressure below 5,000 psi.

Meteoric Core is available in three phases, including C18, widepore C18 BIO, and C8 for medium hydrophobicity. These prepacked analytical columns are ideal for ultra-fast and high-resolution analyses on both HPLC and UHPLC systems.

Characteristics

  • Easy method optimization
  • Ultra-fast separation & outstanding resolution
  • Excellent peak shape on basic and coordination compounds
  • Wide usable pH range
  • Low column bleed – ideal for LC/MS
