What is MCSGP?

MCSGP (Multi-column Counter-current Solvent Gradient Purification) is a two-column process in which side fractions that contain impure product are internally (automatically) recycled in a periodic closed-loop process while pure product is continuously extracted. This eliminates the need for repeated chromatography and the associated time and resources for sampling and testing.

The result?

  • Little product is lost
  • Pure product yield is maximized without any accumulation of impurities
  • Target purity is retained
