Polysaccharide Chiral Phases: YMC Chiral ART

YMC Chiral ART Polysaccharide Phases feature strong stereoselectivity. They are ideal to use for the separation of a wide spectrum of chiral compounds, geometric isomers, and cis-trans isomers. Amylose and Cellulose phases come in two types:

Coated Phase – exhibits familiar separation behavior
Immobilized Phase – boasts similar separation behavior, while expanding separation flexibility by allowing for the use of a broader range of solvents

This new Chiral ART Cellulose-SJ material available in 3um particle size is explicitly an immobilized-type polysaccharide stationary phase, Cellulose tris (4-methylbenzoate) selector. Available in a variety of different column lengths and diameters, it is ideal for both SFC and HPLC.

This material is also well-suited for scaling from analytical to prep. Its immobilized and rugged disposition allows chromatographers to use it for a vast array of chiral compounds, cis-trans isomers and geometric isomers, with a much larger range of usable mobile phase solvents when compared to coated-type chiral phases.

Highly durable, these types of chiral phases can endure an expanded range of pH levels, from 2.0 to 9.0, along with a temperature range of 0°-to-40°C.
